In Storyline 360, how could I prevent a user from going to the next slide until text is entered in a text box?

I like the idea of creating a trigger like you mentioned Michael, but I can't seem to get it to work properly.
Here's the project. Perhaps someone could give me a hand understanding what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Vladimir
in the variable list you have added the text 'blank' in the default field. This means that the TE fields are never blank so the triggers won't accept the conditions.
The field should literally be left blank like the others in the list
