incorrect answer and repeating the slide

Dear Articulate Team,

I hope this message finds you well. First of all, I want to express my gratitude for the assistance you provided me with in the past. Today, I have a different question to ask, and I believe it's a relatively simple one.

In the particular scene I'm working on, there are nine items displayed as buttons. The objective is to drag these items onto the larger shape above. When the user answers correctly, the corresponding correct layer appears, and the slideshow proceeds smoothly to the next slide, which is great. However, I've encountered an issue when the user answers incorrectly. In such cases, the incorrect layer pops up, and when the user clicks "continue," the next slide starts instead of repeating the same slide.

My question is: Is it possible to make the user repeat this same slide when they click "continue" on the incorrect layer? I've tried experimenting with triggers, but unfortunately, I haven't achieved the desired result. If there are any other way than this, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my message and for all the support you've given me thus far. Your assistance is truly invaluable.

Best regards, Gokcenur

  • Hello Gokcenur,

Are you using the Quiz function for this drag and drop or did you construct it with your own triggers.  If you are not using the quiz function, converting to a Freeform Drag and Drop (Insert>Convert to Freeform) would give you the option to easily turn on multiple attempts and use the Try Again layer to accomplish what you have described.
