Hi there!
Rise 360 works with LMSs that support AICC, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and xAPI (Tin Can API) standards. While I don't have specific recommendations for a custom LMS, I'll open the floor to other folks in the community who have experience with that type of setup!
