Interactive Video

I wanted to see if anyone maybe experiencing the same issue I am having and if there was something you did to resolve it. So I created an interactive video that has checkpoints. The checkpoint that has 2 blocks, one right after the other, does not show the 2nd block when I preview the video. No one else on my team has this issue; they can see both blocks. For me, it only shows a blank screen where the 2nd block should be; however, my cursor lets me know there is content there. I have cleared cache and cookies, restarted multiple times, got my IT as well as Articulate help desk to look into this issue and still no luck. I deleted the block and recreated it, still no luck. I recreated the entire interactive video, still no luck. Has anyone else experienced this and may have a solution that I can try.

  • Hi DominiqueMull,

Great idea checking in the community!

I see you've connected with Articulate support as you mentioned. I'm interested to hear from other members to see if they've experienced something similar!

  • I have also experienced this. The checkpoint had a flashcard on top in the first part and a multiple choice question as the second part and the multiple choice question was not appearing. I ended up adding an additional checkpoint with the multiple choice question by itself and removed it from the other checkpoint and it was OK but to me, it should have worked with the two blocks in the one checkpoint. Seems like a defect.

I experienced the same issue and am currently chatting with Support to see if they can assist. I added a Statement block after a List block within the same Checkpoint, but the Statement block appears blank in both Preview and the published course. I then tested a Paragraph block below the Statement block, and that displayed without any issues.

Next, I added a Note block and a Quote block, but neither of those displayed. However, when I added a Statement block and a Note block to a different Checkpoint, they displayed correctly.

It seems inconsistent, since some blocks display correctly while others appear blank depending on the Checkpoint. I’m not sure what is causing the issue.
