Disabling seek in Interactive Videos
I am impressed with the new Interactive Video content type; however, I want to ensure that the learnerwatches the video and completes the activities in a linear order. Is it possible to disable the seek bar on the video player, so the learner is not able to skip around within the video?
Thanks

Hi @dr_wjg,
Thank you for the kind words about Interactive Video. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it!
Right now, there isn’t a setting to disable the seek bar or stop learners from skipping ahead in an Interactive Video. The Required interactions setting on a checkpoint only applies when a learner actually reaches that checkpoint, so they can skip past it by clicking or dragging the seek bar.
It sounds like you’d like to be sure learners watch the whole video and complete each activity in order. I don’t have a workaround to share at the moment, but I wanted you to have the accurate picture.
If learners could only move forward through the video, would you still want them to be able to rewind and rewatch a section they missed?
