One by one is the only way, but there are a couple of things you can do to speed that up. There is a menu item (Insert Reference) that calls up the variable list. I put it in the QAT, so it looks like Ctrl-t Alt-9, select variable.

Another way to speed things up is to create one, then duplicate it as needed. Right click, and it opens drop downs to let you choose.
