Is there a way to continue audio playing when i pause the timeline?
I know the title inherently doesn't make sense but essentially, I have a slide that zooms in on a picture when the user clicks it, the timeline then pauses so that the user can view it for as long as they like before they click a button to 'return'. E.g. the button resumes the timeline, and the zoom function ends. Originally I was going to put the audio on the base layer and then all interactive aspects on a new layer however it doesn't appear that you can add zoom function to any layers but the base. Does anyone have a work around?
Thanks,

I haven't tested this, but you might be able to put the audio in a layer. I believe the layer will continue to execute when the base layer is paused. (We actually had a user complaint about this earlier this week.)
And yes, I don't think you can zoom in any layer other than the base layer. Hi Becca,
The base layer timeline can be paused without pausing the timeline of a slide layer. This setting can be accessed in the Layer Properties window.
You can check out Russell's helpful suggestion, which is to add your audio in a separate layer and only pause the timeline of the base layer. You can also share your project file here if you're willing so members of the community can take a look at how you configured your slide and possibly share their insights on how to improve it.
