Is there a way to keep video player controls visible in videos on their own layer?

There's currently no option in Storyline 360 that prevents the video controls from disappearing on screen. This redesign is part of making the video controls more accessible to learners. I understand how having an option that controls the visibility of video controls can be preferable to some course designers.
