Is there a way to move/copy blocks to other lessons or sections?
Hi
I got a bit carried away (having fun!) and was adding all my blocks to one lesson. I now want to move or copy some of the blocks to a separate lesson or section. Or can I duplicate an entire lesson (and delete the extra blocks)? Is there a way to easily do this that I'm missing? Thanks. j

Hi Nadia,
Are you looking to copy standalone lessons, or some combined blocks lessons? You could use the Block templates to group a bunch of blocks together and add those into a new course.
Or, if you have a number of lessons in one course, look at duplicating the course and removing the additional lessons you didn't need.

I know an update came out recently, but I still dont see how I can do what I am trying to do. I would like to copy a block from one lesson and paste into another lesson within the same section. Is that possible?

The new template feature works great.
Hey Terry,
Looks like you were able to find what you needed? Did you use the new Block Templates to re-use the content?
I just wanted to share a helpful article here for anyone following along.

I used the templates... not too difficult.
Thank you,

Our team are also looking forward to the time when we'll be able to export blocks from one Rise lesson to another course or lesson. We're aware of the copy/export lesson feature, and copy/export blocks feature would also be so useful.
Hey Jennifer,
Have you seen the Block Templates feature? This is a great tool to be able to re-use your content. Check out the details here.
Hey Paul - this response should work great for you.

Here's my workaround for copying blocks between lessons.
1. Save the block as a template
2. Select that template in the new lesson.
3. Delete the template.

Ok, so I do not want to copy a lesson but just a block within a lesson. Is that possible yet?

I saved the block (I wanted to copy) as a template, then brought that template into the new lesson (then deleted the template).
