Is there any way to batch import audio files in Storyline?
Is there still no batch import option after 12 years of requesting it? Batch importing audio in Presenter and then importing into Storyline is our workaround to save time but now that Presenter is being phased out, what should we do? We have customers who want human voiceovers and it's very tedious to add each audio file into each slide.
Hi LorenHallmark-b You have some new options for quickly getting audio into Storyline. My favorite is dragging and dropping audio from either Explorer for Finder (I use Parallels on my Mac) and dragging right to the slide.
The other option is to use Media Library and batch import all audio files at once and insert as needed.
But I get what you're asking for with the way importing Presenter files automatically adds audio to each slide. But you're in luck if that's your preferred workflow:
Import your PowerPoint file directly into Storyline. Any PPT slide that has audio will carry over into Storyline and get automatically added to each slide. You no longer have to use Presenter to bring in your source PowerPoint slides with audio or video.
