Hi Amy, thanks for bringing this up. We're seeing the same problem--it appears that in HTML5, a variable reference causes the text in a text box to be compressed and change alignment. This doesn't seem to happen in the Flash output. Our team is working on a fix, and I'll be sure to add your experience to the report.
