Jump to next trigger activating when there isn't one

Yes, I've done that. I've even added 'pause timeline on this slide when timeline ends on this slide'. no good. I'm using the Modern player. This slide is a video.
Update: adding the trigger 'pause timeline on this slide when video completes' fixed the problem. I use all videos in this program. here's the 360 link...

final solution: adding the trigger wasn't enough. I also had uncheck show until end and extend the timeline a few seconds. I added a frame capture png of the final frame of the video and imported it as a picture. I added this to the end of the video to extend the timeline by 3 to 5 seconds. It takes a couple of beats for the player to figure out it's reached the end of the video. If you don't add the .png it'll still keep going to the next slide.
