Kahoot! like game-based learning
Do any of the Articulate tools provide the ability to make games a live experience like you find with Kahoot!?
I'm familiar enough with Storyline to make a multiple choice quiz with a timer. I've also used Rise a lot, but not the other tools yet.
I'm interested in the event-based experience in which a bunch of students (maybe 100+) log in and take it at the same time with the same timer and where we see the results immediately.
Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
No, but I second this
To me it seems unlikely even if SL could, that your LMS would be set up for this kind of hosting. From your description, I envision opening it in a classroom setting, and can’t imagine any conditions where you could create a better experience than using Kahoot. SL is an authoring tool, not a programming language. My advice would be to direct your efforts toward the content of the questions.
I can't see why QuickMaker couldn't be further developed into this area. We could then create "Quiz type Kahoots" which could run on Moodle.
