It sounds like you're looking for a short answer question type rather than a fill-in-the-blank question type. Unfortunately, that's not currently available in Rise. If that's something you'd like to see in the future, please take a minute to submit a feature request here.

You can certainly do this in Storyline directly, however if you insert it into Rise it won't be sent to the LMS.
On a side note, when you respond to forum threads directly from your email, your signature is appended to the thread. You may want to pop in there and edit out any personal information that you don't want to share with the community.
