Knowledge Check limits?

Is there a limited number of items on a knowledge check to end a section (right now, it looks like one)?

If I wanted to use 3-5 questions to close a section, do I have to create a special quiz at the end of each section?

the added items are fine with the dedicated test section, but can you do only one to close a regular content section?

Rick form Colorado (btw, loving all the new interactivities with the upgrades! I feel like I can join an Italian minstrel band with all the accordions I can make :)

In a Blocks type Rise Lesson, you can create as many individual Knowledge Check blocks as you want.

Each Knowledge Check block is limited to a single question.

If you need a group of questions that are presented together as a collection, you need to create a Quiz type Lesson, that can have as many questions as you need.

  • You can add as many Knowledge Check blocks as you want in a lesson. You just have to add each question as a separate block.

Note that the info from KC blocks is not submitted to the LMS. (Only the data from the designated Quiz is submitted and used for tracking.)

      Dear Judy and Karl:

thanks, it was hard to find the details. This is very helpful. For a single knowledge check question, it probably should be appended to the unit or section, for sure. I tried having three KC blocks together there at the end of each section, and it's ok, but you start wanting some validation on the LMS at that point, especially on asynchronous self-directed courses, where we would have only the data from the designated Quiz at the end of each major module. Thanks! --Rick
