launch an EAO from another EAO

I have an EAO from which I want to open Word documents, Excel or another EAO
for documents, no worries, but to launch another EAO it does not work. I have a button with a trigger of the type: "if user clicks on the button, then open URL ....../story.html" which is the target EAO file.

but in the end I end up with a black screen as I click the button. IN fact it points to a file which is located in the story_content directory of my first EAO

in short, how should it be done?

    Try putting the second one in a different folder, and ensuring that the full URL is used in the trigger.

    There is a test function in the dialog box for that trigger.

    What happens when you publish is that the story.html file in the link is packaged as an external file. A copy of it travels with the published output in the  [name of project] - storyline output/story_content/external_files folder. Only the story.html file is copied, so it launches, but doesn't show any objects from the project - hence the black screen. If you want the whole project, you need to publish the target project and publish the launching project. Then find the published output of the target, and manually copy everything in the storyline output folder to the external_files folder of the published launching project. Don't change locations or file names, just copy.

    Or embed it somewhere in the first course as a web object and link to the web object (publish and find folder name and then use relative link)
