Copy or move block/s from one lesson to another in Rise
Quite often when I am building out a module in rise, I create an awesome block/s within a lesson.
But as I go on building and restructuring the module, the block/s or section better sit within another lesson in the same rise course.
Currently, there is no way to copy or move blocks from one lesson to another - meaning I have to completely rebuild the blocks in the other lesson and delete from the original lesson.
(The workaround, I think, is to save them as a template, insert the template into the other lesson, then delete the template, and delete from the original lesson).
Can there be a function created that allows you to copy or move blocks to another lesson within the course without having to use the template workaround?

We had this very issue ourselves this week and I had to suggest the template option to my manager and we both agree it's a surprising omission to not have a simple "more actions" function next to a block that allows you to select to move / copy it to another lesson and to then select the lesson.
If you compare this to Storyline it's a pretty big drawback - TracyBritanCommunity Member
Agreed. You should be able to easily move blocks from one lesson to another within the same course.

Came here to make the same suggestion - it is constantly annoying that I can't just copy a particular block and add it to a new lesson.
Hi SuzanneCarson-b! I'm sorry this is causing friction in your workflow. Right now, the only option is to use block templates, but I’ve shared your feedback with our Product Team. I’ll keep you posted if we roll out a feature that lets you copy and paste blocks in Rise 360!

May I suggest that Articulate put this as a high-priority enhancement on the roadmap? This is a prevalent need for instructional designers and would potentially drive more users to Rise.

Until you get that new feature, here is my workaround:
- Click the + to open up the Block library
- From the options, select Block Templates
- Top of that window, select New Block Template
- Tick the block you want from your current lesson, and which you want to use elsewhere
- Click Save
This block will now stay in the Block Library, ready for you to insert it in any other lesson.

Oh yes - I've wished for this multiple times!
