Lesson will not relaunch in LMS after modifications made to lesson

Users are having issues launching the lessons in our LMS.  I had to modify both lessons due to blank quiz questions that were in the quizzes. I downloaded the SCORM files and uploaded them back to the LMS. The content was modified by uploading the SCORM file. This did not create a new version but only a modification. Users that were in progress were not able to relaunch the lesson. The lesson does not show load button at the bottom of the screen and just spins and displays a blank page. I have removed the lesson and reassigned but they still cannot launch the lesson.
