LMS Commits and Timeouts

We are having issues with learners opening courses and then leaving them open for a long time and our LMS times out. The course is still open so the learners will come back ...
Hey all One work-around I'm trying out is putting a trigger on every slide that exits the course after 15 minutes. The only thing I would want is to increase that time, but the max amount of time you can put on a timeline is 1000 seconds (about 16.7 minutes). That way it forces communication with the LMS and progress is preserved.
Only thing I would want is the ability to extend that time. I'll be creating a new post on here requesting this feature, as well.
