LMS not reading ZIP file

My LMS is reading our zipped file when they are zipped from Storyline, however, I had to go in and change some programming language on one of the files, so that makes it so I can no longer use the zip feature inside Storyline, but need to zip AFTER making the edit to the file. I tried zipping with the zip feature that comes with Windows 10--right click on the file and choose Send To-->Compressed Zip File. It creates a zip file. I upload that to the LMS and the LMS isn't reading that one. My questions is... do I need WinZip or another fancy way to zip files for the LMS to read my zip files when I zip them manually? What does everyone else use to zip their files (other than the Storyline built in feature)?
