LMS Output: Tin Can Works vs xAPI Doesn't!

I'm after some suggestions for an error I'm receiving when uploading a module using the xAPI output option. The module works perfectly, except it fails to report the quiz score back to the LMS (Learn Upon).
Strangely, my colleague published the same module but his software has the output option of 'Tin Can API' and when uploaded to the same LMS the scores track and report correctly.
Is there any issues using an xAPI output vs a Tin Can API?
Any support / ideas very welcome!

We recommend testing the behavior of your course in SCORM Cloud to see if the behavior is isolated to your LMS. You can test your course in SCORM Cloud, which is an LMS that we use for testing as well. Here's how:
If your xAPI published course still does not report quiz scores in SCORM Cloud, open a support case here so we can take a closer look at what's happening.
