FYI:
- Rise 360 is a cloud-based application. All of it exists and works in the cloud.
- Storyline is an app that is installed on a computer. The user has to be connected to the internet and logged into Articulate 360 when using Storyline 360. That connection allows for accessing the Content Library. I believe it also is used to ensure that a given license is only used by one device at a time. But that doesn't allow others to access the data within a Storyline file.
- The published content from a Rise or Storyline course will be as secure as the website, LMS, or LRS it is put in.
