Loading screen (three dots with dim background) not centered after build 3.108.36078.0 Storyline
I have been using version 3.108.36078.0 but after updating to 3.109 versions (both the January 21 and January 29) the three dots loading screen is not centered anymore after exporting to SCORM file. It becomes smaller than the player and anchored to top left.
Reverting to 3.108 solves the issue. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Hi Aditasha!
Happy to help!
Using Storyline 360 version 3.109.36182.0, I tested a sample course uploaded to SCORM Cloud. The three loading dots appeared briefly, but were still fixed to the center of the browser window.
I also had the same experience when loading the course in Review 360. Are you only observing this behavior within your LMS? If so, have you tested your LMS package in a test environment like SCORM Cloud? This can help pinpoint if an issue is LMS-specific.
Let me know how it goes!

I actually tested this locally, running the story.html from the exported SCORM file. Still does not explain why reverting back to 3.108 fixes it but updating to 3.109 makes it not centered anymore.
Looks like there's another discussion regarding this issue Slide loading animation off-centre and too small | Articulate - Community. My screen looks exactly like that.
Hi Aditasha,
Thanks for the additional details and for linking that other discussion.
While a few community posts describe similar off-center loading behavior in 3.109, we haven’t been able to reproduce this internally yet. One important thing to note is that opening story.html locally isn’t always a reliable way to test SCORM output, since Storyline courses are designed to run within an LMS context.
If possible, could you try uploading the SCORM package to an LMS or a test environment like SCORM Cloud and let us know if you see the same behavior there? That will help us better understand whether this is something specific to the published output or the testing method.
It would also help if you could share:
- The browser and browser version where you’re seeing this
- Whether this happens across multiple projects or just a specific one
With that information, we’ll be in a much better position to try to reproduce and investigate further. Thanks again for taking the time to document what you’re seeing.

Hi Eric, this is quite easy to replicate, I have two projects that do it if you want to reach out I can give you the files.
