Localization: Using different embed links and files based on language

Hello,

Our teams embed videos via our own platform. Is it currently possible to modify these embed links for each language (so that there is a specific video for each language) without affecting the other languages?

The same applies to documents. Currently, the titles of the resources are translated, but we would like to have a different document for each language.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Have a great day,

Etienne.

  • Hey there etiennedelille, thanks for your question!

Embedded videos are not yet localizable in Storyline, but you can insert different videos per language (import from computer).

You should be able to localize resources per language in Storyline

You can see a list of everything that is automatically translated or is replaceable per language here

Let me know if this helps!

  • Thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately, for technical reasons, we are not permitted to embed videos directly into our content. They must be hosted on a third-party platform—hence my question.

Thanks for the link; it will be useful for the teams.

    Have a great day,

    Etienne.

Thanks for sharing a bit more about your organization's video requirements, etiennedelille. Glad that my colleague asalayev was able to help give you some insight here.
