Looking for mentor or internship opportunities
Hi MJ,
Can you upload a resume or bio? Or send the community a LinkedIn profile link? You'll have better results if you tell the community more about yourself and your experience. Even if the experience is not in instructional design.
If you are looking for unpaid work, a great place to start is building your own portfolio using the weekly e-learning challenges https://community.articulate.com/hubs/e-learning-challenges.
There are lots of good books out there too. Begin exploring the articulate website. They do a very good job of curating content.
And don't be so quick to sell yourself short (i.e., offering to work for free). Learn about the industry first and then set a price. Articulate just posted https://community.articulate.com/articles/freelancing-101-5-factors-to-consider-when-deciding-on-an-hourly-rate
Good Luck!
