Canvas is a full LMS with really cool feature like Speedgrader, discussions, outcomes and rubrics, quizzes and quiz banks, and modules. The LMS is built on wiki pages, so it's fun and easy to use.
You can create free courses by just signing up as a "teacher" in the "Free for Teacher" instance. (You don't have to be affiliated with an institution.)
Canvas can now work with SCORM, although I'm not sure if this feature is available in the Free-for-Teacher instance of Canvas.
