Loss of .story files - looking to reverse or "unpublish" files.

I am looking for help to reverse or "unpublish" .story files.

Long story short, the drive where all of my .story files were saved has been lost. I have the published versions (both for web and for our LMS) and was hoping there is a way to access the .story files to edit them? I see this question from 9 years ago and the answer then was no, but am hoping against hope that there is a chance I can access these files????

    No way to open them up in storyline, you can access one of the files (images, audio) it is a rebuild, sorry.

    Thanks Phil. I was pretty sure I knew the answer but hoping it was possible.
