Markers on text
Hi Maria,
Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! ✨
I'm happy to provide some insight and help point you in the right direction! Markers are a great way to reveal content only when learners need it. Learners can hover over markers or click on them to see additional text and media. You can add a marker to the text, but you'll want to make sure the marker isn't covering up important words or sentences.
For instance, you may want to place a marker next to a line of text. I recorded a quick demo where I added a marker and used a screen reader (NVDA) to move through the slide.
- I used the Tab key on my keyboard to select different objects on the slide. When the marker was highlighted, I selected the Enter key to open the marker, and then the Enter key again to close the marker. Here's a resource on keyboard-accessible markers that you may find useful!
Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help! You can also share your file here with the community or privately in a support case for additional assistance. We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
