Markers working nicely in a layer until I change slides and then revisit original slide

Hi! In SL360 I have a number of markers on a layer, that all show text when mouse hovers over the marker.  This is exactly what I want to do. The Layer takes up the whole slide, so I have a 'Close...

    Hi everyone,

    I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 86, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

    One of the new features we’ve included: 

    • Fixed: Markers on a layer didn't open when learners revisited them.

Hi! The Alyssa's workaround works for the PREV button in the next slide, but it doesn't work if I press the reset button, or the play button at the end of the same slide.
Any suggestions? There is a way to force initial state at the end of the same slide?
