Matching drop-down trigger

Hey all, In my course I use the "Matching Drop-down" question slide in a test. I want the user to fill in the question before they can proceed. Therefor I used a trigger to disabled the "submit"...

Hi all,

If I already submitted the wrong answer, I set the result page to redo the question, but if I jump back to the question page, the Matching Drop - down answer state is last time I choose, how can I reset the answer state to non choose?

    Happy to help!

    I'd start by checking your Triggers for the Failure Layer, on your Results Slide. In Storyline, the Retry Quiz Button adds a 'Reset Results' Trigger by default. As long as this Trigger is enabled, the incorrect answers should not be shown when retrying a Question Slide.

     

    It's possible that Trigger may have accidentally become disabled, which can lead to the behavior you shared.

    However, if that Trigger is active and you're still experiencing this issue, please share a copy of your .story file for testing. You can upload that here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
