Math equations in RISE
Hello everyone, 🎉
I’m happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:
- Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text.
There’s nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.

Interesting note on this feature, the text editor that Rise uses is called Froala, it has a 3rd party plugin with this functionality. Some info here https://froala.com/wysiwyg-editor/examples/wiris/
This makes me think the functionality already exists but might be a matter of licensing it.
And 2 days ago the TinyMCE editor also added this functionality, looks more of a native integration. https://www.tiny.cloud/tinymce/features/math-equations/
