I was attended the Getting Started with Microlearning in Rise 360 today, 3/14/2023, and had a question that David and Ginger unfortunately did not get to address.

Thank you. So as far as you know, Articulate is not planning on offering a way to track participant engagement/course completion, and we still need to use an outside LMS (in other words, Rise is just the authoring tool).

This is the key concept: "Rise is just the authoring tool".
Rise is used to create content. That's it.
For everything else including student management, tracking, reporting, etc., you need to use your Rise course within a LMS/LRS.
