Microlearning quiz

Does anyone know if it is possible to build a quiz in microlearning format? We use Opigno and build a course with several microlearning courses. However, so far, I have only been able to create a quiz in a regular course.

    Hi,

A Rise Microlearning is essentially a Rise course with a single Lesson.

The Lesson type defaults to a content type lesson.

As a Microlearning is limited to a single lesson, you can't have a Quiz as it's a type of "Lesson".

  • Hi,

i've create a microlearning with only knowledge block but there is no possibility to set a succes score or others parameters as i do with Rise.

I've tested this because in translate parameter item there was this possibility shown...

Never mind, I'll create my quiz with Rise.

Maybe Articulate's developpers could offer this possibility (lesson or quiz).

  • I would agree that it would be very helpful and a cool feature to integrate the current quiz feature of rise courses into microlearning courses. For us, the quiz at the end of a rise course is mandatory but there are many advantages to use microlearnings, but right now, we are not "converting" the rise course to a microlearning because of this missing feature. Thanks in advance for a commentary. Kind regards

      Hi Rene,

If you need a Lesson AND a Quiz, use a regular Rise course, not a Microlearning.

Hi Marijin, I encountered the same issue recently. As others have already indicated, microlearning does not have the quiz feature. So, I imported my microlearning module into a regular Rise course and then added a self-checked quiz at the end so that the SCORM package could work with Brightspace. Hope this helps. :)

  • I'm having the same issue, I just want a quiz, without a lesson attached to it. Now I have to make a course for 6 questions?  A separate quiz option would be great

agreed, the microlearning format would really help here.  It could be a great format for a short quiz or survey.  We'd love to support our in-person sessions with this but need question level reporting.

I do wish that there was an ability to add a quiz to a microlearning.

When I ran into this issue I just saved the entire microlearning to a block template and pasted the template into Rise, added a quiz, and moved on.

  • Does anyone know if Rise allows grouping various microlearnings into one title? As if each one can be seen on the same screen as part of a bigger topic. thank you

      Hi Sofia,

You are describing  the features of a regular Rise course,

  • Karl,

good point, I wanted to give learners the option to do small chunks of content at a time, instead of feeling forced to do the whole course, thanks you

  • Hello! Does anyone know if you can add a quiz SL block to Rise Microlearning and it will count just the same to the ol' LMS?
