Microlearning Real Content and Templates

Does anyone know where to find the Microlearning Real Content and Course Templates in the new user interface in Rise?

I'm looking for this content: Rise 360: Use Microlearning Content Templates, but can only find full course templates.

  • Hi SonalDhand-d226 and ronald-hicks,

I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update fixes the issue you encountered where Microlearning templates weren't showing up when trying to create a new Microlearning course. There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available.

One thing worth flagging, the path to get there is a bit different than described above. Rather than browsing through Templates generally, go to Start from Blank > Microlearning, and you'll now see the option to start from a template or a blank Microlearning from there.

Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported!

They're still there — they're just grouped separately from the full course templates, which is why you're only seeing the full ones. When you create a new Rise course and open the template gallery, look for the Microlearning group in that same gallery; the full-length course templates and the microlearning templates live side by side as separate categories.

It helps to know the library splits them into two buckets when you're browsing:

    - Real Content: complete, ready-to-ship microcourses — 'Spot the Phish', 'Invisible Disabilities in the Workplace: Kentay's Story', '5 Tips for Better Naps'.

    - Placeholder Content: ready-to-brand shells you finish with your org's details — 'AI Best Practices [Organization Name]', 'New Hire Pre-Hire Checklist', 'Software Training'.

So if you're staring at full course templates, you're in the right gallery but the wrong section — switch over to the Microlearning group. The full list of both buckets is in the user guide you linked ('Rise 360: Use Microlearning Content Templates') if you want to browse the titles before you click.
