Modern Player: too much space on either side

Hello! I am having an issue with the light-colored modern player. All of my tabs are at the top of the page, and it looks correct when I'm in the player settings. However, when previewing the slides, there is an inordinate amount of space on either side of the player. I am not using a sidebar, so how can I get rid of all that space? Thanks!

As you can see here, while in the settings, the course title and the tabs align with the sides of the slide...

But when I preview the course, there is a lot of space on either side of the slide, with the title and tabs pushed out to the left and right margins:

    Hi Lynn,

    Thanks for asking about this! This is the expected behavior of the player. The controls in the modern player are scalable. So the bigger the browser window is the longer the seek bar gets and the more space there is on the sides of the slides.

    Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure I like the look of this, but I understand the importance of scalability. I guess I'll need to put a frame around each slide so that objects flying in from either side don't look like they're coming out of thin air.
