Mouseover (??)

I'm brand new to Articulate, and need some help building a Rise 360 project.  I'd like a definition to appear when the learner hovers over a word in the text.  I think this is called a mouseover(??) but I've not had any joy finding answers when searching in the e-learning heroes pages.

This would solve many issues! Is it part of any future plans?

Addition to the request to add this feature. While embedding an SL block is a solution, it's kind of clunky ;) Thanks!

  • Hi

I think this is the same or similar request.

Could we have function in Rise 360 that when working in edit, and hovering over inserted images/illustrations/videos, that the file name of that media element be displayed while mouse is hovering over pencil (for example)?

That would save heaps of time for checking etc rather than having to click Pencil, then go into edit to see file name

    Thanks

    Jane

      Hi Debi!

Thanks for checking in on this!

I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team prioritizes other features. I've included your voice in the feature report and will notify you if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.

Have a great start to your week!

  • Seeing that this original request was 6 years ago with 45 in agreement, I don't think Articulate uses this forum as a feature-request system (despite the "Suggest ideas" title in the dropdown menu).

I couldn't find any threads like this one begging for AI tools, but that's been the priority.

  • It sad to understand that Articulate hasn't worked on this simple request since 6 years of request while they are busy incorporating AI tools instead.

It's important to work on features like these which is already there in Storyline. :(
