Move course to Rise 360 from Reach 360

Hi, I've uploaded 3 external courses to Reach360 but want to move them or copy them to Rise360 and can't find a way to do this.  I know it can be done, but I can't figure it out.  Any ideas out there?  Thanks in advance.

  • Reach 360 would be serving as an LMS to play a published course. Rise is the authoring tool. Were these course built with Rise?  There is no moving necessary if so.  Are you talking about sharing via Rise?  There is a Quick share option as well as a Review option

Thanks for responding Ron.  I want to share the link for people to complete the course without having to register.  I can see that my predessor has previously copied an external uploaded course in Reach 360 to Rise 360 and has been able to share the link that way without registration necessary.  I can see this works via the Quick share option you mentioned.  I just can't figure out how they were able to move the files from Reach 360 to Rise 360.  The external provider has used Rise Articulate to develop the course.

  • You will not be able to "move" it from Reach to Rise. Reach hosts a published output of the file.  Rise would use the authoring file.  So, do you have the Rise file you used to publish to Reach?

I have the zip files provided by the external org. Am I able to upload them into Rise?  I can't see how I can do that.  Keen for any advice!

  • Unfortunately, no.  The Zipped Package is like a baked cake.  Rise needs the ingredients to bake that cake.
