Multiple Hyperlink Styles?
I'm having a somewhat related issue - Is it possible that the hyperlink "visited" state is defined per slide and not per project (or as a consistent style).
Context: I have made myself an own template file with our own branding - I've mixed and matched several previously used slide layouts - adapted everything, all fonts / colors look perfect. The hyperlink Normal state also works well based on the Style. However the hyperlink visited state needed to be changed on each slide individually. (I didn't check for the other hyperlink states).
From my point of view this is a strange behavior - I would expect all hyperlink states in a style to cover all slides in a project.
Thanks
Hello Stefan,
The hover state of hyperlinks inherit its style from the normal state. This is the expected behavior as defined in this article. Here's a quick recording of the behavior that I see on my end, which shows that the custom color that I select for the normal state is carried over to the hover and visited state in newly added project slides.
Can I ask if you are able to replicate the behavior in a new project file? Additionally, would you be willing to make a recording of the behavior you're seeing so I can test the issue by following your steps?

Hi Stefan!
Thanks for sharing the screen recording!
Reviewing your setup, it appears that you already have the visited state format changed for some of your hyperlinks. If you wanted to test this functionality on a new project file as I did, you’ll see that the visited state inherits the formatting that was defined initially:
- Create a new Storyline 360 file, add a text box, then add a hyperlink.
- Change the hyperlink visited state color to something noticeable. I chose Purple.
- On a new slide, add a new text box, then a new hyperlink.
- Preview the course, and test the hyperlink visited state color for the first slide and then the one that was added after. You should see the color choice was retained without you having to manually change it.
I've recorded a quick Peek to show you my results when testing it out on my end!
Please let me know if this worked for you, or if you have any more questions!

Thanks Stefan. I see it works on blank slides - as I move along in my project I will find out if it also works with slides which I import from a template.
Best regards
