Hi Jan. Creating a digital version in Storyline 360 of a physical interface from the real world could definitely work! While I unfortunately don't have any examples to share that 100% meet your needs, here are a few that could potentially inspire a project like this even if they're a bit different.
- Storyline: Audio Editing Software Simulation: This example shares an entirely digital experience instead of a combination of digital app and real life, but it does still give someone the direct experience of testing out a skill.
- 11 Creative Software Simulations in E-Learning #194: On a similar note, the examples shown in the challenge roundup may also provide some ideas for simulating an interface.
Also, another good place to look for inspiration might be the recordings of the Learning Guild's Best of DemoFest webinars. Their in-person DemoFest event is like a science fair, but for e-learning creators to show off some of the cool projects they've worked on. And the Best Of webinars highlight many of the best projects shown at each in-person DemoFest. A large percentage of the projects shown at DemoFest were created in Articulate apps. So these webinars can be an excellent way to get project inspiration for what's possible in Storyline 360 and Rise 360.
