New Adaptive Video issues
Has anyone else experienced any issues with the new adaptive video option?
We recently released a course and the only setting difference I made was to try out the new adaptive video option in the publishing settings.
We've gotten several emails to our team complaining that slides are buffering for long periods of time. I've personally done teams calls with all of these users, and the common theme is each slide they're getting stuck on precedes a slide that has a video embed.
I would think that this new setting would prevent this, but honestly it's the only thing different from this course and the others we've been publishing. Has anyone else had issues with this? Anything I maybe missing?

the LMS web server has to support HLS video streaming (-> mime types) for adaptive video

Just to update. I republished with the setting turned off, and users immediately saw an improvement. Let me know if anyone else sees this.

Was completely unaware of this. Thank you so much Jürgen!

Thank you so much for posting this! We just ran into a similar issue and turned off the Adaptive setting and it worked fine. We use Workday Learning as our LMS which isn't currently compatible with this feature. Workday controls the back-end web server so we cannot configure to support HLS video streaming.
