NEW FEATURE: Enhanced Quiz Feedback in Rise
We’re so excited to share the latest new feature in Rise: enhanced quiz feedback. This new feature lets you display specific feedback to learners depending on their answer choices.
This is super helpful when you want to give learners coaching when they select an incorrect answer. In this video, CTO Arlyn Asch walks you through how it works:

Hi folks! Now you can make quizzes more challenging. Show learners feedback without revealing correct answers! Find out how in this article. Enjoy!
Hi Cameron and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Great question!
We have some of the upcoming items as well as the newest released on our What's New, What's Next page.

Love this, thank you we taking advantage of this new feature.

Providing enhanced features to give different types of feedback for each question in a quiz is great, however it would be even better if quizzes could be placed in blocks rather than having the learner go to a separate "lesson" to simply take a quiz. This get's quite confusing when delivering via the LMS. Any idea when quizzes will be available as a block option? I know this was mentioned about 6 months ago, along with the Labeled Graphic interaction. I think it really is an essential feature.

Agreed!
Thanks for popping in to share your thoughts Martin.
This quiz block (as well as the labeled graphic block) is something we have on our radar to look into based on user request. We are tracking the requests as well, so I will add this thread (to both).
We appreciate you chiming in as well Mary :)

So i don't see where this feature has been added when using Rise can someone point me in the right direction. It doesn't show up with knowledge check questions?
Hi Brittiney,
The updates mentioned here for various question types and feedback options are for the Quiz lesson. We are working on creating a Quiz block so that you can combine it with other parts of the blocks, so we'll let you know here once that's ready!

It's possible to add a feedback that tells the learner wich questions are wrong but without telling them wich is the correct answer?
It sounds to me like you’d like to remove the checkmarks or indication of the correct answer if you're providing feedback to the learner when they're incorrect? That is definitely an idea I can share with the team! If this isn’t quite right, please let me know what you need and I’ll be happy to help.

@Ashley Terwilliger - I came here looking specifically for the ability to give immediate question-by-question feedback, WITHOUT revealing the correct answers. Please add another request to the pile for this feature!

Hi Ashley,
I want to confirm with you... Is there a way to provide the immediate feedback (correct/Incorrect) for each quiz question without revealing the correct answer? I like the "take again" option, but I don't want to give them the answers before they do so.
In addition, can you allow them to review the course again prior to a quiz "retake?"

I would like to disable the "correct/incorrect" feedback entirely, and only give the learners a written feedback to their responses. Sometimes we just want the learners to reflect, and there is no correct or incorrect answer.
Thanks for that feedback, Sara!
If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about your specific needs, that would be super helpful!

It would be great if multi-choice feedback is also added to the knowledge check block as well please.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to pass it along to our team.
Happy news, everyone! I’m excited to share that the Rise Labeled Graphic block has arrived. Check it out here, and you can also review this article for ways to get started with this new feature.
