NEW IN RISE 360: Scenario Block
Today we released the scenario block for Rise 360, and we think you’re going to love it.
Now you can easily add branching scenarios featuring Content Library 360 characters to Rise 360 projects. Just drop dialogue, responses, and feedback into a scenario block to walk learners through choices and their consequences. And because it’s Rise 360, your scenario will look stunning on any device.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your feedback and ideas! If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about your specific needs, that would be super helpful.
Regarding the accessibility question: Rise 360 does not currently fully support screen readers, but we're working on it. Our ultimate goal is to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). So far, we’ve added these accessibility features:
- Increased contrast for built-in course features
- Alt text for images
- Keyboard-accessible navigation
Keep an eye on our "What's New" page and the Rise 360 release notes for details.
Concerning the file size question, that definitely sounds odd. I would have our Support Team take a look. You can submit a case here.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!

I too was excited about this new feature but have the same challenges as others with text limits and characters. Here is a link to a scenario template that we make in Storyline and insert into Rise to get what we are after. I was hoping we could replicate with within Rise but so far it seems we cannot. The dialogue format doesn't work for us. We were hoping for branching text boxes. with a background image We really dont need the character on the page and it would free up a lot of real estate.
We will keep an eye on it for future use as the potential is there.
Thanks for sharing your feedback, Tim. Would you be up for logging a feature request to tell us more about your specific needs?

Hi! I really enjoyed using the Rise scenario block. One comment and one question:
1. How can I change the character's expression in the end scenario block? She looks angry, which is not appropriate for a successful outcome. I don't see the actual end scenario piece in my editing tools so I can't use the drop down expression menu.
2. I echo earlier comments that 200 characters is very limiting. More would be helpful.
Thanks!
Anne
Hi Anne,
If you want to customize the end of your scenario, follow these steps.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that we fixed the issue where characters' expressions would revert back to neutral.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is there a way to remove the characters all together and only display a background image?
Hi Kristen,
You can hide the character on text-only slides, but on dialogue slides it's not possible to hide the character. Would you be up for logging a feature request to tell us more about your specific needs?
In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know!

Hello there,
we are diving into this exciting new feature and would have one follow-up question:
is there a way/option to make the 'continue' button disappear after each answer?
I think it would be great to avoid an extra click in each question.
I tried to erase the label 'continue' from the settings but it did not bear any difference in the interface. Thanks in advance for your attention!
Best

Hello!
Apologies if this has already been asked and answered but... is there/will there be a way to report on the responses selected in the new scenario blocks? Many thanks :)
Great question, Marco!
Learners will always see the Continue button after making a selection in dialogue content. I'll let our team know you'd like to be able to turn off that button – thanks for the idea!
Hi Lisa!
Rise 360 quiz data will be sent to the learning management system, but there isn't a way to report on Scenario Block data. This interactive block type is designed for lean-forward learning moments, like a knowledge check.
I'll submit that idea as a feature request for you!

Would also love the feature to add your own characters to be looked in to.
We have our own branded illustrated characters, which would be great if we could use these in the scenario blocks.
Until then, we'll refrain from using this feature, as the character sets don't fit our purpose or align with our style.Great start though... nice work!
