New Rise Feature: Folders
Hello everyone:
Today we released a new Rise feature called folders. Folders make organizing your Rise courses a lot easier.
Check out this 2-minute video and this kb article for more info.
Enjoy folders!
Adam
Hi everyone!
We are excited to share that we have released Rise 360 Team Folders! You can now create shared team folders in Rise 360 to organize your content and share content with collaborators even faster. We know this has been a popular feature request and we can't wait for you to finally check it out!
Your Rise 360 dashboard will look a little different, but don't worry. You can find all of your content, personal and shared, in the My View section. If you run into any snags or have additional questions about Rise 360 Team Folders, our team is available in this discussion or in a support case.

Thank you Adam, a great addition. Would you consider being able to add sub-folders?

Hi Adam. Quick question -- I have a team subscription and I'd like my folders to be shareable with my team members. It doesn't look like this is a feature yet. Is there a way for the folder to also appear on my other team member's account?

The folder feature is nice but it only supports one level. We would like nested folders to better organize our Rise courses and to limit the data load on the course dashboard page. Can sub-folder functionality be added? For example, we would love to organize our content as:
- /Client One
- /Program One
- Course 1
- Course 2
- Course 3
- /Program Two
- Course 1
- /Program One
- /Client Two
- /Program One
- Course 1
- /Program One
- Course A
- Course B
- /Client Three
et cetera

We're still tracking requests for this feature. We'll be sure to share updates here if we make any changes that will help!

Thanks Adam, much appreciated, helped me to clear the decks. And, was very impressed when I tried to move a Rise production for the second time into the same folder and it politely informed me it was already there.
Terrific.

Nice feature Adam; thanks to you and the team...
Any provision for adding media assets to the folder(s) so everything's in one place?

Nice way to organize!!
Question: if I move a course to a folder does this change/break the link I may have shared with others?
Gail
Links are retained, Gail. We're smart like that. 🤓

Hi Adam, Though not publicized yet on this chat, I just wanted to say thanks for the extra couple of features that allow is to resize a number of our entries and choose to use or to not use the borders for the items... I know what I'll be doing for the next few days....
Just out of curiosity, could it be possible to place metadata image to the center of the screen, or have the option to turn it on or off? I've attached a screen capture to demonstrate...
Thanks for considering the possibility!
Michael - you're seeing this because the metadata image we get from articles is small. Just use the small option for now for embedded articles.

Thanks for the fall-back suggestion, Adam!
Also, thanks to Articulate for the 2-month notice via email regarding subscription due dates... That's a lot more notice than Adobe gives -- which is none. Surprise --- you're hooked for another year!
Oooops, didn't mean to use the A Word!
