New Rise Feature: Send a Copy
We've shipped another much-requested feature for Rise. You can now easily send a copy of your course to another Rise author. It's a great feature when you need to share a source file with a client or colleague.
Here's a Peek vid on the feature:

Keep in mind that both parties will have an independent copy of the same project. Changes you make to the course won't appear in the other author's version, and vice versa. Soon we will be releasing the Collaborators feature which will allow multiple authors to work on the same course.
Enjoy!

Hi Troy,
To send a copy of a Rise course, open the Rise dashboard that shows the list of all your Rise courses.
Find the course you want to send a copy of.
Move the cursor over the course name.
Now look on the far right-hand side of the course name where there are three dots.
If you click on the 3 dots, the second option is Send a copy.

Could someone explain, how a link was created to share the orientation course with anyone who clicks the link. I am in the process of creating a template which could be used by different brands within the organization. I need to create a similar link so that anyone who clicks the link gets the template on their Rise dashboard.
Hi Jayesh!
Articulate staff uses the Copy Course Link to share courses with the community. While we don’t plan on making that feature public, the best way for you to share courses with other authors is to use the Send a Copy feature.
Thanks for asking about it!

If I send a copy of my course, do I still appear as the author of the course, or the person who receives the copy appears as the author?

Hi Daria, if you send a copy of your course to another author, the recipient will have their own version of the course. They can change the course and are marked as the owner/author of the copy without affecting the course that you own.

¡Hola!
Hay alguna forma de visualizar ¿de cuáles cursos y a qué autores se ha enviado una copia?

Hi Eli, we don't have a feature in Rise to allow you to view which courses have been shared to which authors. Can you provide more details on how you're going to use this feature in your organization? This will help us better advocate for this feature. Thanks!

Seeing who the course was shared with is helpful for me in a freelance position where I am trying to verify and show a course has been shared with a date/time stamp. Perhaps an email confirmation of the copy being shared would be useful, and a notification for when they clicked the link would be a bonus!

Any traction on this function? Likewise, would find the ability to either report on when it was shared or get an email confirmation very helpful

Hi, now that there is a new interface for the Rise course page, I don't see any ellipses for us to send the course to another Designer. How can I now send a course?
Hi Zanel,
On the Rise 360 dashboard, the ellipses will appear on the upper-right of the course card when you hover your mouse over it if you are in block view (as shown below):
If you are in list view, the ellipses should appear on the far right of each course card.
Hi, Tricia!
Thank you for taking the time to share what you'd like to see in Rise 360! We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.
