Next button flashes briefly even though hidden/disabled

Hi, I know this is an old topic, so I hope someone might still see this. I'm using the latest version of Storyline, and have two slides that will automatically advance to the next screen. I've disabled the next button in the Slide properties for them. Just before the slide advances you briefly see the next button. (Flashes on and off in less than a few seconds) but it's long enough for the image to be seen. Any ideas on why or how to fix this?
