Non-breaking spaces in Rise?
Hi there, Christine. On Windows keyboards with a number pad, you can use
Alt+0160to add non-breaking spaces to your Rise 360 text, including course and lesson titles. Yay!For now, it's not a feature that works with Mac OS. We'll let you know if that changes.
This issue is still high on our wish list as well. Posting this comment to receive a notification when (or if) this is fixed... This should be a basic feature in typography.

Maybe this issue comes and goes but for me,
on February 2nd 2026,
with Edge under Windows 11,
editing a text in Rise 360,
pressing the Alt key,
typing 0160 on the num pad (yes, yes, the numeric pad) and releasing the Alt key
does not insert a non-breaking space
but a regular one that breaks.
The workaround's workaround here is to do that elsewhere, in Notepad ++ or in your word processor: there you get a non-breaking space that you can copy and paste in Rise. And that works, mysteriously...- EddyFazan29 days agoCommunity Member
