NVDA is randomly announcing button before reading the actual focus order

I have the latest updates for SL but I am using the newer version of NVDA
2023.1.
I'm glad you weren't able to duplicate this because that gives me hope that
it will work properly for others. For now, I've updated my accessibility
instructions so users won't be alarmed if this error occurs (and they will
know to ignore it and continue on through the slide).
