Official news video clips
Hi,
I want to start my next course with a few clips of the news talking about climate change but I'm struggling to understand how I'm going to source these clips legitimately.
When you watch a YouTube video that cuts to a clip of BBC news for context, are they paying the full Getty price (around £250 for a 20 sec clip), or is it covered by 'fair use' and they're not paying for it (legally)? If so, where do they get the clip from?
Would creating an internal only eLearning course be classed as commercial use?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the link.
I'm hoping someone out there has some experience with news footage and can share their knowledge.
