Only correct answers to continue quiz
- If a graded-question slide is set to unlimited attempts, it will keep showing the Try Again layer until the user answers correctly. That's what it is supposed to do.
- If the slide is set to 2-10 attempts, it will show the Try Again layer until the user answers correctly within the maximum number of attempts. Then it will show the Correct feedback layer. Or, if the user answers incorrectly for the maximum number of attempts, it will show the Incorrect.
- If the slide is set to 1 attempt, it will show the Correct or Incorrect layer after the user submits their first answer.
- By default, the Continue buttons on the Correct and Incorrect layers jump to the next slide.
- If the question is part of a quiz with a Results slide, the Retry Quiz button's "Reset results" trigger (which allows the user to retry the quiz) resets the number of attempts. For example, if the question allows 2 attempts, the user will have 2 attempts to answer correctly the first time they take the quiz, and they will have 2 attempts each subsequent time they retry the quiz.
Because AlfredoBlaya never responded after my initial reply three weeks ago, I can't say for sure whether the original issue was caused by the #attempts or something else.
If this reply doesn't solve your issue, I suggest you start a new discussion. That increases its visibility, which makes it more likely to get replies from multiple folks with different ways to approach the problem. Having each new question in its own discussion thread also makes it easier for others to find potential solutions when they have a similar problem.
Be sure to clearly state what you want to happen that isn't happening, what isn't happening that you want to happen, and what you've already tried.
Also, troubleshooting is often just guessing without seeing all the programming. Someone might be able to solve the issue if you upload the .story file. Here are the best practices for doing that:
- Only include slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
