Other ways to use the "destination' function in Rise?

I have a course where I'd like the learners to view a general concept, then have the option of choosing their job role to continue with information relevant to them. I know I can use the button feature for this, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to make it more aesthetically pleasing?

I love the new Custom Block features and am hoping Articulate Rise rolled something new out. I tried copying and pasting the URL to the destination lessons, but when I SCORM the file, it doesn't work properly.

Thank you!

Could you give an example of what it's doing once you publish it in SCORM? is it not opening at all? Perhaps it's just a 'buggy' thing that the custom block is doing. Since it's in beta testing, I wonder if maybe there's still a few things to figure out for it??🧐 (smiley with monocle)

It links back to the original, unpublished Rise course because that is what I put in as the destination URL. I'm not sure what the proper anchor URL should be. When you use the button destination, you can choose which lesson to go to, but I don't know how to get that functionality to work outside of the button option.

Hi MelodieLuckman-! When you use button blocks, you can set them up to navigate learners to different parts of the course, such as a particular lesson or section, without leaving the course environment. At this time, that functionality isn't available in another block type. In that case, this would be a perfect scenario to share feedback with our developers! You can find the feedback form while editing the Custom Block, or I'll link it here: Custom Block Survey.
